Fennek SWP Blockout

I've been working on the dutch Fennek SWP with the Stinger lately and I could use some general feedback. GDC is next week and I'm working non stop to turn this into a full high poly piece into my portfolio but I am wondering if I should move into the Fennek and make it a high poly first and then see if I have time for the Stinger(atgm). What would you guys do? First the full blockout of the Stinger or just work on the high poly with the time I have?


I'm also learning how to use Keyshot and I could use any good links that could guide me apart from the ones on their website.

    Get your main shapes down (like the suspension and inner tire rims) before worrying about surface bolts.

    If you can actually get the final high poly of the vehicle done, then worry about whether or not to do the high poly of the weapon. If you're hoping to do the entire project before GDC to a high quality, it's not going to happen. This is a 2-3 week asset at minimum if you're hoping to do a low poly with current-gen standards (XBone / PS4)

    At the very minimum, focus on getting a killer high poly done beforehand. Don't worry so much about polygon flow and stripping triangles. Do that when you're done making the low poly before you UV it. Focus on traditional high poly modeling for now.
