Maya viewport transparency

Hey everybody, just started working with maya and I need to get some holes in my low poly mesh, to achieve this Im trying to use alpha map as transparency, but viewport gives me crazy results, some weird xray vision. kD9sXFu.png
I would really appreciate if somebody could help me to fix this? Is this a problem with some viewport setting or material inputs? I already spend so much hours trying to find the solution, you guys are my last hope.
