Hello, I'm preparing to take over an abandoned mod for Kerbal Space Program, well two mods but hey... I can program (Really!) but I am more of a CAD person than a blender person, it doesn't really work on my version of Linux anyway...
Kerbal Space program is an awesome aerospace simulator built in Unity that rides the razor's edge between science, engineering and silly humor. The kerbals are not ashamed to bring out the duct tape whenever a part falls off one of their ships... (Exemplary example of kerbal engineering:

Speaking of parts, that's what I need here. A very ammeter(sp?) developer made a surprisingly awesome mod called Stanford Toruses. (

I have a number of things that I need changed, specifically I need a hatch moved around, some actor placement issues, maybe a texture swap or two here and there. The most significant change is a 3.75M attachment node that I want made a 5M/3.75m switch hitting node. I will do all the programming, I just need the 3D art. I want that same part to have a rotation animation... I will only be using selected parts from Stanford Toruses, On top of that I want to resurrect a spacedock module (with new features) from

I would like some compatibility/interoperability with other mods, specifically the HX series of parts from

All parts in the mod should be geared towards building extremely large space stations and supporting activities that might be carried out at such stations.
I only require specific edits to the 3D models, you may then do as much or as little as you want. I have the soul of an engineer, I only request that the models be reasonably efficient for quick loading, and rendering. Artistically they should look respectable as they pass over the western limb towards orbital sunrise but that's it...
I don't need much from you, just willingness to participate in the project, a layman's understanding of spacecraft engineering, and have a passing acquaintance with Jebediah Kerman.
