This is our development thread for The Throne Room Contest. We are a two man team from Dudley College, aged between seventeen and eighteen. We will be posting our work shortly.
Looks like a really good piece, well thought out and placements of models seem to work well without leaving empty areas, though it would look even better if you would have put some lighting effects into the map to give a little more atmosphere to the overall look.
I think the group project went really well. I am happy with the end product we produced. I'd like to thank my group for each adding there own creative ideas to the group and creating and texturing some really good 3d models. If i had some extra time i would work more on the lighting and the post processing effects. I think we also should have spent some more time on the placement of assets, instead of the assets them selves. Other than that it great as part of the Tony Blair Witch Project
I am pleased to announce that this project went a lot better than I anticipated. I would like to congratulate the group members who managed to keep this project going and putting extra hours in to finish the project on time meeting the deadline.
Though I must confess that this project could've been done much better. Like how some textures on the assets I created in Unreal differs from the textures in the final throne room. And how the atmosphere is somehow uncanny to our initial idea. Other than that it was a great experience to work on this project.
