M84 Stun Grenade

Hey y'all!

I've recently decided that its time to suck it up and learn zbrush. After watching a couple youtube videos, I found a workflow that felt good. I wanted to really understand how to boolean in zbrush so i decided to choose this grenade. Started with a base mesh in maya.

High Poly Sculpt:

Pleased with that result, I started to tackle the retypo. Done in Maya.

Baking didn't go as planned, and had to do lots of clean up in photoshop. Baked in Xnormal:

After all that fun stuff, I took it into dDO, textured it and threw it into Toolbag:

Overall, I learned a great deal from this small project. I need to practice on baking the high and low. Critiques are very welcome here!

    Hey man glad you learned a lot! Looks like a cool concept however your high poly has to sharp of edges, which makes the end result normal map look very flat. You should soften the edges for the next project so it will be much better bake. :)
