Hey y'all!
I've recently decided that its time to suck it up and learn zbrush. After watching a couple youtube videos, I found a workflow that felt good. I wanted to really understand how to boolean in zbrush so i decided to choose this grenade. Started with a base mesh in maya.
High Poly Sculpt:
Pleased with that result, I started to tackle the retypo. Done in Maya.
Baking didn't go as planned, and had to do lots of clean up in photoshop. Baked in Xnormal:
After all that fun stuff, I took it into dDO, textured it and threw it into Toolbag:
Overall, I learned a great deal from this small project. I need to practice on baking the high and low. Critiques are very welcome here!
