For my graphics course we are implementing an image based lighting shader. The shader takes in precomputed diffuse and specular irradiance maps. I am having a hard time finding a way to export these maps from an existing cubemap.
I tried AMD's
Cubemapgen but its a pretty buggy software and generating a specular irradiance map is a little tricky.
Do I have other options? I know Marmoset has skyshop for unity, and ive tried it but you cannot export the irradiance maps. I was thinking of just taking screenshots with an otho cam of the 6 directions for each cubemap (sky ,diffuse irradiance, specular irradiance) generated by skyshop but you cant even apply the generated cubemaps as skyboxes, so thats a dead end.
Does Toolbag2 allow you to export the cubemaps into an image? What are my other options, if any?

Are you writing shaders for Unity or your own engine? (Just out of curiosity)
Thanks. Im writing the shader for opengl using glsl. If im not mistaken unity supports glsl shaders.
