I am going to be posting my progress on here for my last school project in the hopes that with your critiques and my hard work I can have something nice to show when I graduate!
A team of two others and I are making a 3rd person game made in Unity with a slightly cartoony feeling, where you play as a monster to destroy a city, one district at a time. (basically a 3rd person Rampage game)
We are still brainstorming on the Aesthetic theme of the game but I have started on our first monster you will get to play as, Kaz.
This is my first time character modeling :poly122: so I REALLY appreciate any advice and help with form, process, edge flow, anything :poly121:
Here is what I have so far:

As for the Dragon i've would say that 11k tris is to much for this character. Here is a good example for what a character with your details should have. One thing you can do is start learning High Poly sculpting, its a kinda must in today industries pipelines. Program you can use are Zbrush, Mudbox and 3dcoat, maybe your school have a licence for one of the programs. Or you can use a student licence for Mudbox.
Here is two picture what detail a High Poly sculpt can give.
Hope some things where useful as tips, good luck with the project!
I am doing a low poly study on the side so I think all this will bring it together.
Probably going to be adding some more polys to get some more detail.
