Hello everyone!
Im still a noob with 3dsmax.
I want to create a simple 3d background based on this image :

I work with AutoCAD so I created this wall composed with polygons, for moving them in 3dsmax. Its not a plane, it has 1 unit of width.

Ok, then I convert the whole object to a Editable poly, select its vertices and move them where I want but this happens in most of the edges :

I want them to move along with the vertex, I dont know if Im explaining myself.
I tried welding the vertex but didnt work.
I dont even know if Im doing this correctly :(, is there any other easy way? Am I missing something?

Thank you in advance!

i know that autocad also supports 3d geometries
so for you it would certainly be easier to create this shape with autocad

if you want to do it with max just google for a basic modelling tutorial on youtube
this isnt really a geometry related question, more a "how do i 3dsmax"
and iam afraid the only way is to learn how to use max

but to answer your question, the holes are happening because the vertices are not connected to the edge
subdivide the coresponding edge and merge it to the vertex
