hello guys,
Would be nice if someone can help me out with an question regarding 3ds max and mesh scales. I would like to adjust a mesh in 3ds max to the propotions of an jpg image, is there any way to do this?
So basically when putting latter the texture on the mesh it should fit by 100% without stratching etc...

To fit a plane to an image what I do is put a UVW map modifier on and use the pixel dimensions from the image in the U and V inputs. Then I go down to the stack to the editor poly/plane primitive and tweak the size until it lines up. There's probably a much quicker way to do this and lots of people use a script to do it, I would too if I wasn't too lazy to write my own. Just telling you my out-of-the-box method.
For the script do you have any idea how it is called? I need to fit a lot of planes to images so doing it manually could be very time consuming.
