Hi everyone,
I had two subtools (~1m polys each) which I have merged together. When I run the tool through dynamesh, I want the scultped tool to be subtracted from the plane with an accurate, smooth edged result, but I keep getting jagged edges (as seen in the image).
I have tried increasing the dynamesh level up to 512 (used in image), increasing blur and thickness amounts and toggling on polish, but can't achieve a better result than below.
Thanks for any help you can give.

@peanut - I watched a Youtube video last night that sounds like what you have explained there. From what I can make of what you said, it seems like a slightly different method to achieve the same result? Thanks for the help.
Here's that video. He basically does a very similar process to myself, but gives the two tools different polygroups and toggles on 'sub' when running dynamesh.
I was stumped on the cleanup of the jagged edges mainly, but it's good to know multiple ways of doing things, just in case one doesn't always work. Using those polish sliders in deformation does a good job of fixing that though
I must say i wasn't sure if Dynamesh would let you work on multiple polygroups on the same mesh but i can see the use of the polish slider in this case which is also good.
