Reflections - Trailer Released!

Hey there guys! I hope it's not too tacky to plug my studio's Greenlight Project, Reflections, on here, but I'm actually really excited about it, and think you guys might be interested.

A lot of stuff is still sort of alpha-y in the trailer, but it's an accurate swatch of the moods and tones we're going for.

I worked as an Environment artist on this project and helped to generate a unique art style. For instance, there are absolutely no normal maps being used in the game itself outside of terrain textures. We're also going to be putting an emphasis on lighting and color in different settings based on the games primary mechanic.

    Nice work but it still looks kinda of student-ish. Push everything more to a professional level.

    That girl characters's eyes looked lifeless. I'm a student myself so I see similar stuff in my class.

    Thanks for the feedback, and yeah it definitely needs a good deal more polish. This is actually only about a month of work from myself and one other artist. We plan on really getting things up to scratch by April, but we wanted to have a video to show off our progress thus far for our greenlight. :D

    In my opinion more important is to give player good story , great and hard to find details that gonna give you edge over other titles. For example gone home look student-ish as well and it's successful - all depend on story and gameplay solutions. Graphics looks neatly.
