I read on this forum that you can use a spring controller to get a bouncing effect. So here is what I tried and then I got stuck:
1. I uploaded an unrigged model to Mixamo's autorigger
2. I downloaded it then added spring controllers and reweighted it.
3. I Sent the new model with the changes back to mixamo and then
added a jump rope animation.
4. The bouncing was not working. But I downloaded it. When I opened the animation file, I saw that:
Mixamo kept the extra bones but they didn't seem to understand what a spring controller was. They were just regular bones now and they just followed the parent bone without springing.
5. So I assigned a spring controller again. and It worked fine in max. The result is in the video above.
6. I re-exported the animation. But when I tried to open it again, I got this error message:
BindPose - Incomplete BindPose - The following parent and/or ancestor node(s) is/are not part of the BindPose definition
It works in max even with the error message. But when I import it to UDK. The bones with a spring controller don't move at all. I really want to get this working in UDK.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

If that doesnt work try collapsing the spring controller to a Euler controller in the Motion Panel. Then exporting.
