I am working on Dungeon Kingdom, an indie game project with a friend who do the scripting. This is on of the creature that we will fight in the game.
Modeling is quite done and I will begin the baking and textures soon.
I will use this topic to post other assets of the game and other creature I will create.

but the modeling looks really nice^^ although i feel that the legs look a little "static"
i imagine them to be a little softer.

I did some color variations, which do you prefer?
I agree with Nintendo46,the legs look static like those of a crab, like if it was armored.
I prefer the gold version of it, the purple one has some strong saturation on the legs.

Here's a new character, the fat bad ass dude!
I modeled the body from a sphere in Zbrush, added the props in 3dsmax and then detailed the whole stuff back in Zbrush

I didn't update for a while. I was busy on other projects. I did A lot of stuff I didn't post so I got a lot of stuff to show.
I spent some time playing with substance designer and Unity 5 standard shader.

I will post new stuff soon, I am working on a new environment for the game and I would like to show my process to produce maximum asset with less work possible, using extensively substance designer, since I am the only 3d Artist on the game.

I started a new charater for the game. I will share my whole process with you !
Here I just drafted the whole shape and proportions with dynamesh. I will start to add basic shapes for the armor and props before adding details.

I am pretty happy with the face design that should look mean, ugly and stupid
I am working on the armor now, I blocked out some parts using shadow box and other modeled in 3dsmax and imported.
I modeled the mouth half open to be able to animate it afteward in the game.
I tried to create the fur with FIbermesh, just test right now.
I made some changes regarding to the concept for better reading.
I'll make facial hairs with alpha palnes.
I got some tweaks to do but texturing is almost done.
I use substance painter and Marmoset for rendering
