Hello Polycount forum browsers!
For one of my classes, several of us were assigned to work on anything of our choosing and have it finely polished at the end of the month. My plan was originally to go with a "Military Tow-Truck" that followed something along the lines of an HET M1070, and the 2014 HESS truck, but I felt as though I strayed too far from the references I had gathered during the modeling phase and pushed it to the back burner for another day.
I decided to go with a reference image that my model could be compared to, so I went with a video game model which is the URGA-9380 from Just Cause 2.
After a week, this is what the final product was:
And now for some maps!

There were a lot of firsts in this project, including this being my first post ever to Polycount. No I am not counting the mandatory "Hi" post. That is... well... mandatory.
Feel free to critique away. Ask questions, make judgements, say "why would you do it that way?" I'm all eyes and ears.

But keep going. The shape looks really solid. Don't be afraid to gather life references from similar vehicles to see how they did it.
For a week long assignment for a vehicle (which are monsters within themselves, and most AAA artists get multiple weeks to go from start to polished final in-game asset usually) it came out pretty decent. Keep on rolling man!
Thanks again guys!
