4K Textures (4096/3200 to be exact )
Modeled in Max/maya and zbrush
Texture masking / base textures done in DDO, with the rest done in CS5

@snake85027 - here's a shot of how i did the stitching in zbrush.
I used to try and sculpt stitcheds right into the mesh, but kept running into issues with not being able to have a dense enough mesh to get the right detail.
So i decided to duplicate the strap at a low subdivision and then delete all the unnecessary geo , then sink it under the surface of the strap, sub divide like crazy and stitch away! This also came in really handy when bakeng my colour mask in 3ds max because since the stitches and straps are separate meshes I could just apply different color materials to them and get a perfect mask for photoshop.
@candystripes05 - It is based on a real watch , actually one I own ( yay non-photo references ) I agree that the gears are far from practical, but I wanted to be as close to the real thing as possible .
