(I really regret modelling in the grip all those months ago, but whilst I found the exports I never found the source so I had to work with that and a fairly crap bake but I think it came out ok none the less)

nice model can u make it more rough use like blade scratches and holster of robe something like in zbrush scuplt scratches will look really nice

How do you get the metal to look so good?

Um, hand painted the wavy edge detail then add substance designer magic, pretty new to pbr so it's probably not all that accurate but I'm practicing

while presenting a single asset like this is pretty cool, i'd suggest taking it a step further... Model out the scabbard, and place them on a desk of some sort, frame the piece.

So I've started to ground the sword, not sure if this is what you had in mind.

half way through doing the Sageo (string) and materials for the stand but that’ll have to wait for another evening
