ANSWERED: Assigning materials manually

Hey all,

I seem to have a problem with ddo and adding materials manually.

I normally assign materials in 3do with shift+C, but whenever I try to just add a material manually and then give it a color from the dropdown list, it just doesn't work. It has a completely black mask.

This wouldn't be a problem, but I made a material myself and it's not a smart material, so I need to manually add cause I think I can't shift+c it from 3do.

Anyone else with this problem, or possibly solution?

hi!

I think I know your problem, there is a bug causing the mask to be black, simply click the mask again, and hit done directly and it should "Kick in". Let me know if that works

K, just clicking on the mask and hitting done wasn't enough, I also had to select the blank option inside dynamask. That seems to fix it.

Okay good that you got it sorted at least! WE´re looking in to that bug, it is very annoying!
