Hello everyone I'm now in the middle of trying to paint my model I made in zbrush. I've seen alot of artists get cool results from painting in zbrush but i think my texture work is lacking and i cant seem to settle on a good color scheme.

Can anyone give me advice on how to properly texture in zbrush? Also if you could point out which color scheme works better.

I'm no pro painter in Zbrush or any other program particulary but I think you could add a paint layer using the spray dots color stroke with the standard brush and break the texture a little bit, then maybe mask by cavities and work on them with darker colours. The model looks great, I like the veins you did on the sides

Thank you :) I actually used the method you described on the black version and for the brown version I tried using substance painter
