UDK - A small wooden cabin

Hi all,

Here are a couple of day and night shots of the scene I have just finished in UDK in my spare time - small wooden cabin.
I went for a bit more polys for the planks as I wanted to have a bit more variations on the walls so it doesn't feel super flat.
Also tried to avoid having straight edges and sharp corners to get rid of the computer "mathematic" look and bring a bit more uniqueness to the cabin itself.
As you can see the cabin was the main subject so the rest of the scene is kind of a "quicky" - trees and grass done using Speedtree.
The are almost no props in the scene as I wanted to keep it clean and do not overpack it with details.
The normal map for the planks was sculpted in ZBrush.
Because of the limited time I was aiming more for the overall mood than for a super detailed environment.
I wanted the cabin to feel wet and damp.

Once I had a scene ready I decided to make two versions: daylight and night and I think the night version works better (even though many details are not visible) but the overall mood is better.

Also two short fly-cam animation are available under following links:
