PhyreEngine - Maya Grids and Units

Hi all

I'm working on a project in PhyreEngine for University. I'm trying to find out what's the best setup for 1:1 units and grids in Maya.:icon_question:

As you can imagine there's not allot of help online and the documentation with the engine is slim.:poly141:

Should I fail in getting the Units to match, I'll knock up some BSP in Phyre and import that in to Maya to use as reference.

Yeah that's my first step when working with a new engine.

Make a 1-unit model, like a cube, and import that into the engine, see what scale it comes in as.

And vice-versa, if you can export from it, make a 1-unit box and export it to Maya. But exporting is not as useful, since mostly you will be importing into the game.

I think in Maya you can adjust the export scale. Check to see if you can. This way you can set it to .1 or 10.0 or whatever scale facter works the best.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately there's no BSP in Phyre :( but I found some example assets to play around with, will try and pull a scale off them. I'll give the export settings a go too, like the idea of handling scale on export. Cheers Eric.
