Lumba is a San Francisco based company specializing in creating first class mobile games for the Arabic speaking world. We currently have two titles (with a third in the works) which are doing extremely well. Our second title, Tribal Rivals, was chosen as one of Apple's "Best of 2014" across the Middle East.
We are seeking a self-driven, open and creative general 3D artist who can work in-house at our San Francisco office and help us create game assets, marketing materials, and much more. Being a part of our small but fast paced team means you won't be stuck doing the same thing every day.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Lead Artist in creating game ready 3D assets
- Create in-game beauty shots and marketing materials using polished renders of game models
- UV mapping models and creating textures and shaders
- Retopolgize hi-res characters created in ZBrush to create animation-ready models
- Rig characters for animation
- Work closely with the art team to achieve tasks in a timely manner
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ Years of experience in the industry or a relavent degree
- Profficient knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Profficient knowledge of Modo or other 3D packages (Please be willing to learn Modo if it is not already in your skillset)
- Proactive, self starter additude - ability to adhere to deadlines
- Ability to juggle several tasks at a time
- Impeccable communication and organization skills
- Incredibe attention to detail
- Abilty to come up with creative solutions to art challenges
- A passion for creating high quality games
- Ability to work in-house in our San Francisco office
