This is my Final fantasy 7 Avalanche hideout not sure what to do next to improve the scene. Im not looking to add new models just improve the lighting/post process.
Heres a couple of changes i would like to do to the scene and one problem
Changes
How can I increase my custom skys resolution? its currently 1024 x 1024.
Is there any way to have the feed from a camera to show on the tv screen on the back shelf like a security monitor? I have searched for tutorials and have come up empty.
Problem
The steps for the scene are just bsp in ue4 with the wood texture applied the main deck floor is a static mesh with collision. The problem is the player gets blocked at the top of the steps. Not sure why.
Would really appreciate any help in making this piece stand out. Below is a link to the blog for more information on the project.
I like it, but can you post it without the blue haze? I'd like to be able to see it more clearly, also the more pics the better!( I just want to see more XD)
This makes me so nostalgic and I think it has alot of potential. But I'm just not getting that blue haze, it's juat too distracting from everything else.

One of the maps in the content samples that does exactly this
Edit: The project was called "Blueprints Example Showcase" and it had a variety of things including a security camera like you're describing.
For the life of me I cannot find it on the marketplace, I can't tell if it's gone or if I just can't find it because of how horrible the marketplace is for finding shit.

Build it as a model and use a ramp as a collision mesh

The breakdown of the Camera is here: https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Resources/Showcases/BlueprintExamples/SecurityCameraAndAlarm/index.html
