Hey guys, I've scoured the internet looking for a tutorial, and so far every single one has been circumstantial. If your model is a human head do this, or if your model is a crate do this... and so on.
I've modeled a few bits and bobbles, and am wondering how one goes about baking high - low poly.
Here, I'm a bit unsure of what to include in the low poly. Should I just use a flat plane? Or would it be worth while just to bake down lower poly pipes and use the original wall mesh which is very low poly, and stick the low poly pipes with maps into it in UE4?
And here, what method would be best for baking maps?
A simple link to a good tutorial would be greatly appreciated!
