Ive recently had the idea of creating a large scale advanced character editor, that would produce game ready playable game characters, and would be used as a dev tool to help character artists create realistic 3d characters, I was wondering if anyone would give me ideas that I might could add to my currently existing idea, and also some feedback on what you think about it and what a good price for it would be.
Here are some of the features that I plan to implement into it.
○Easy to use features
○Easy to navigate Gui
○Use of Shapekeys for ease of customization of avatar.
○Automatic Rigging
○Output of 4096x4096 texture for the character, and 1024x1024 texture
for any clothing
○Custom tattoo/decal editor system, the use will have a custom decal editor
that will be used to make custom tattoos/decals to be applied to the
avatar as a tattoo or to clothing as a decal.
○Tattoo/Decal system, for applying tattoos onto an avatar.
○Clothing system
○Animation Library
○Export of .Fbx file format of avatar
○Lots of documentation

I dont even know where to begin, this seems like such a cool idea.
pimiller001, Yes I plan on building it completely myself.
possibly, it would more likely have a stock character that you would use as a starting point then from there you would be given a assortment of sliders to change the appearance of the character.
This would export the model with a rig so you wouldn't have to rig the character once your done haha.
