We made a photobash to get an idea of where we wanted to go, along with a quick mockup in maya.
Right now the main focus will be to shift the weight of the room around, thinking about size of details/props and try to lead the eye towards the throne.
The blockout will be heavily modified in the upcoming days.
After this maya blockout, we're planning to do a 'proper' blockout for Unreal in which we will take into account modular pieces.
As none of us are concept artist, we had a hard time visulasing how the layout would look. So after the photo-bashing we started doing a basic maya block out. Most important was to figure out how to make the throne as it wasn't in the first concept.
After several sessions of testing the layout, we decided to go back more to the original concept as it felt too large in scale and quite empty. Keeping it smaller and tighter.
