Lighthouse

I started making a lighthouse model and finished the geometry pretty much. While I´m somewhat statisfied with the geometry (feedback concerning it would be also very appreciated) I still have some serious problems with texturing (not UV-mapping).
How do you like the current stage of it? Do you have some advice how I could make the textures and materials look better?

    hey cool idea as far as a lighthouse! maybe render it with the wireframe so we can get an idea of what youre working with topology-wise.
    As for texturing this beast, the reference images have some pretty lame textures, as far as a story behind it is concerned. maybe place it in a setting where its taken damage, grunge up the cracks and edges. Bust a window or two, just have some fun with it.

    Small update:
    -@MrD4rth thanks for the feedback! Some really good advice
    -Wireframe as requested
    -Adjusted the scale so that it fits the reference more
    -Some simple normal map added (I don´t like it)
    -Played a bit with the saturation

    Looking nice, I'd agree with D4rth in having fun with the texturing, you could definitely inject a lot in life into the scene.

    Update:

    Thanks @Auldbenkenobi for the feedback!

    - Added some details
    - Tried out a new material for the middle of the lighthouse
    - Changed some other materials slightly

    Nevertheless I have some problems finding a good style for the textures so feedback is necessary :)

    Another update. This time I tried Substance Painter. Seems to be a pretty decent tool although the generated normal maps didn´t seem to work. Currently my UVs are not efficient so some of the detail got lost. I also changed the color of the red part completely.
