not yet, will get when it goes on sale im sure. Seems to be another RTS but im a massive fan of the genre. Nothing genre defining but still seems like a fun experience
Saw it at PAX South, and heard one comment from the announcer in passing that threw me for a loop - something to the effect of "so you have flying units that you really have to use to scout the map out, and that's something that's really not been done before" - um...by every RTS ever?
Anyways, it looks like a solid little RTS, reminded me a lot of smaller scale StarCraft 1 levels, but nothing earth shattering.
It looks like nothing special, but otherwise pretty good, so I may well pick it up at some point.
On a personal level, I was annoyed when they announced it as I was working on a prototype RTS called 'Grey Goo' at the time for my own reasons - except the 'grey goo' was intended to work much more like a real world grey-goo scenario, with a fluid-like construct that would attempt to deconstruct everything in it's path in order to multiply and spread further
ambershee, you could always rename yours "Von Nuemann's Nightmare!" - Use "XTREME!" somewhere in the title and get a gravelly voiced WWE style announcer for bonus points.
Gameplay is pretty standard RTS with nothing groundbreaking but everything is done really well, with the possible exception of some balance issues though I don't really play multiplayer RTS much.
Single player is really well presented too didn't think I would ever get another RTS with CGI cut scenes again!
Hang on. I was under the impression that the goo faction could actually deconstruct enemies (not terrain and such, that would rather break the game/balance) for resources?

I hope it does well for them. That name is terrible though.

Yeah this is really cool. I was watching someone play through it and was surprised by how well they were done in between every mission.

Not really - they're still fundamentally bog-standard RTS units with all the normal behaviour:
