Yea, first I had the mass effect zombies as reference, and then someone suggested me to google the stroggs. Since it was the exact feeling that I was trying to get on her, I followed this direction.
Her shoulders and chest should be wider, her hips are also very low, look up a skeleton and it should make sense to you where and why that bump is created.
Thanks for your feedback ! I'll fix those things ASAP.
Then I'll paint on top of the sculpt in photoshop to define once and for all where the mechanical parts should go and where I'll put details and areas of rest.
The new face is certainly more appealing. Great job! I did like the design of the clothes though, are you going for the same style or are you remaking those as well?
same spirit, but probably shorter sleeves, and without hood
I'm going for a techninja kind-of look, inspired by fashion such as this
the only thing I don't know is if I include glowing elements (fck yea emissive maps) and if I keep the stylized hair or make more realistic alpha planes
Hey ! New face is much better indeed.
I also have a character that I redid twice and never finished... and just like you I plan to reboot him again.
This coat looks great, are you going to use Marvelous Designer ?
hmm don't know yet, I experiment a lot, that's probably why I never finish stuff
I like the quick results of Marvelous but it's hard to control the look of the folds
plus, there's a dilemma : i want to make the coat longer because it looks cool, but it will hide the mech details :c
I think you might want to double check the head size, it might be just a little big right now. Everything else reads very nicely though, it will be interesting to see how the tech ninja design comes together.
I just checked the size of the head, the body = 7x head, so yea there's a mistake
but I'll try to change the proportions of some body parts like shoulder width, torso length, otherwise some features would seem oversized if I just scale the head
I haven't touched the head (yet)
btw, do you guys have a trick for merging the head with the body without having to put 20M polys in the whole model just to make the skin pores on the face ? if you know what I mean

Otherwise it's looking pretty good, keep it up
