Hey Everyone,

To mark this new animation forum, I'm re-posting my post from another thread. I hope that's ok. Animation can take a long time so rehashing an old thread is all I have for now.

This is my show reel displaying my work through 2014. Some of the projects include Orcs Must Die! and Age of Empires Online. The last reel I made was back in 2009; so I hope you all check it out, and that you enjoy it.

Hey man, wow that's a kickass reel! Good stuff. Loving the Orcs Must Die stuff and the fact that you've got a mixture of 3d, sprites and 2d.

Only crit I have is that its very long. Its great that you have so much content to pick from over the last 6 years but in my opinion you should try to get it under 2 mins. Focus on your favourite and very best stuff

Also I'd be careful with how much motion blur you use. Looks nice but I've heard some folks find it distracting in reels.

But overall excellent work and great to see your Riot Stuff in there too!

Oh man, I saw you reel a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with them age of empire animations. Really sweet ass critters in there, I couldn't stop watching all the animal animations you got posted up.
You should think about converting all your quickTimes to gifs!

Cool reel man! you've got some great stuff in there. I think the Orcs Must Die stuff is definitely strongest, you're showing a lot of weight and personality with those. I agree that the reel is MUCH too long. Personally I'd cut out a lot of the 2d stuff, the sprite stuff is fun and cool, but it doesn't really tell me anything about your abilities that I didn't already know from watching the rest of the reel.
