Seems so obvious when it's pointed out like that, but I never considered that he probably took several attempts for each of those to get it perfect.

Yes, Yes, I've seen it shared on Facebook a few times. But his accuracy and shooting speed are seriously impressive.
If I was going to be a killjoy I would say.... I think his movement skills are a bit less athletic, but that doesn't detract from his bow skills (it'd just be a bit better if he either didn't show them off, or didn't show them off till he'd practised more!).
And the demonstration of shooting through chainmail armour is unconvincing -- he's shooting at a butted mail hauberk draped over a static target. Butted mail isn't the real thing -- the links are just closed with a couple of pairs of pliers, then remain closed because of the properties of the steel. Easy enough to force them open again by shooting an arrow or jabbing a weapon into them though, which makes butted mail useless as armour. The real thing has each link riveted closed, and there's no way you'd penetrate it with the very light bow (30 pounds draw weight or so) that he's using.
Still, he would easily enough be able to shoot any attacker in the eye, so why he's even claiming he can get through their armour, I don't quite know! lol
