Hi everyone! So I am going to enter this even though I'm pretty busy with work so I'm at least hoping to give it a good go even if I don't manage to finish it in time.
My idea is a decaying old clocktower that has been abandoned and is now home to a lone vampire. The clocktower has been his home for so long that overtime it has broken and the time is standing still for him just as it is for the the broken down clock. The room will be full of all the clock workings but also to all of his possessions, books and memories that he has hoarded there for thousands of years. In the centre of the room in the moonlight will be his "throne", a solitary chair where he sits alone forever with all of his belongings.
I'm hoping to go quite gothic with the architecture and just get it looking really atmospheric with the moonlight and atmosphere.
Creepy!

I'm thinking the throne could be backlit from the moon and perched on a load of old bookcases covered in old cloth and stuff. There will also be big gaps in the old floor showing further down the tower.
Good Luck!
It's beautiful
Small progress update on the bricks, the ones on the edging are wip but these ones are coming along now. Quick shot in unreal of the start of the clock area.
And a start on the clock high poly
The idea is that it is an old gothic chair, I have chosen a balloon back Victorian chair as I love the idea that it shaded him from the moonlight behind him and it quite enclosed like a coffin. To push this coffin idea further I want the inside part to look almost like velvet coffin padding. I also want coffin carry handles mounted on either side of the throne. I liked this as I have seen it on many thrones for servants carrying them and also it is similar to carrying a coffin. Would love some feedback on the ideas, even if I cant work in 3D atm!
Hopefully will be back up and running soon!
About the screenshot in unreal 4 there is a button for high res shots in the editor. When i am on my pc later i will screengrab it for you so you know where it is its super handy!
And wvaughn409, here is the location of the big screenshot button in unreal 4! I would reccommend saving before trying out big sizes although I use 3 and that is huge and instant on my PC Hope it helps!
(This is just a detail, but how did you make those cobwebs?)
Tweaked lighting and scale as a few things were too big! I think it has helped. Also added red runners on the stairs.
Finally started on the throne after putting it off for a while. I find it tough to start hero props knowing I never get to spend more than a few hours before work and overtime comes back around! But I just had to make a start so here is the rough high poly sofar! Want to get it ready to sculpt this week ideally
Really great job, i like the mood.
Anyway on to the next project. Well done everyone, so many great entries and quite a lot that could have made top 10 for sure!
and first place was just beautiful! I want every final fantasy game to look like this forever now!!
Thanks to everyone who organised it!
