I've used the female mesh that you can find in zBrush as reference (ONLY as reference, I did NOT use it as a base nmesh), but for the face I used this image, since I was having troubles getting the proportions right.
You should try to find Andrew Loomis references instead of relying on the existing ZBrush references. There's gestural information about the way the S and C silhouette curves of the human body as it stands relaxed you're not quite getting. His drawings show that really well.
Ok! I was using the zbrush mesh so I could have a "in viewport" reference while I was working, but I've had the feeling that the reference wasn't 100% accurate. I think I know what images you are talking about! I'll find them and use them!
