Wacom Intous 3 Problemo

My wacom drivers seem to keep crashing and I have absolutely no idea why.

Everytime I launch my computer it says 'Wacom Driver Not Running'

Edit: It also occurs randomly during the day when I use it.

I installed a fresh driver for it , same problem. I've had this problem for a while now but I can't find a solution.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or has this problem?
Should I start looking at investing into a new wacom or is that a too drastic view on things.

did you try an older driver?

the newest one isn't necessarily the best

I was using the old driver until yesterday, but I got the same error messages on startup.

I got so sick of this current generation of wacoms that I dug out my old graphire 2 and it really rocks in zbrush - the pressure sensitivity works great

I think I was getting a similar message on my previous pc. It didn't have any noticeable consequences though.

I'm gonna play mad scientist and tie ducktape around the cables maybe it's that.

But maaaan.

Open zbrush , at some point close zbrush/zbrush crashes , suddenly wacom driver isn't there.

Then I gotta see the 'Alt' and 'Ctrl' keys all the time and it lags. Who thought that was a good idea

I'v gotten all sorts of weird Wacom Driver problems and I can never remember how I fix them. I was getting that error everytime I started up and would touch my pen to the tablet. I know something that helped alot was changing the Wacom Service to a delayed start.

I still periodically get failed drivers when I startup Zbrush so I made this lil .bat file to restart the service. I just leave it on my desktop and run it whenever it happens and its g2g. Maybe that will help?

The amount of times this has happened to me is crazy. The only fix i've found is to use this method http://gametextures.com/blog/2014/05/12/fix-your-wacom-drivers-without-restarting-win/
Or just reset my PC

Oh man. This makes me happy , at least there's some way around the problem.
And nyx702 , I've set it to delayed start hopefully that'll fix the problems or at least some on startup.
There's another option which restarts the service once it's failed , have you tried that one? I turned it on just to see what will happen.

The .bat file that I linked above does what the GameTextures article says without going into the menu and stuff FYI.
