Hi!
I can't miss out on a contest this good :poly124:
I'm basically going to create a
Gameshow of Thrones.
Nothing to do with GoT. I intend to create an 80's television set that hosts a gameshow called
The Royal Flush!
The focal point of the studio set will be
The Throne of Fortune. Contestants will answer questions in order to move from their podium up to this throne, where they can win money towards their prize pot.
I will go into more detail as the project progresses, but essentially,
it's a royal themed 80's game show set focused around a throne where you win money.
I will be using:
3DS Max
Photoshop
Quixel Suite
Substance Designer
Substance Painter
Marmoset 2
Unreal 4
I will be posting a reference board and initial blockout very soon...
Thanks for reading. All the best!

I'm on a weekend blockout grind and should have something for you to look at soon
Started a Pintrest board for reference...

I'm currently creating an early Unreal viewport paint-over.
I'll post it shortly.
And yes- Definitely gonna have some side-stage action going on. That's a nice ref image too ^
It's proving quite difficult to find good 80's ref. The 90's era style is luring me in..
So I made a quick Paint-over using an Unreal viewport grab. So that I can evaluate things before moving forward...
I've already decided on a few changes. And I have some colour schemes in mind now.
I'll post a more 'refined' blockout soon
I certainly aim to, yes. I think it'll look overly simple if I don't aim to achieve quality, realistic materials. And I'm gonna try and squeeze as much out of Substance while I can..
So yeah man, Hopefully!
