Hi
The challenge i have before me is that i want to make a table.
And i have laid out the UV's in a way that i can get the most of the UV space.
This means that the two sides of the table are rotated differently in the UV map.
The result is this:
What i would like to do is rotate the direction of the left side to match the wood direction of the right side. I've looked around but have not found any way to rotate the direction of the material. Maybe the solution is obvious but while searching i have not come up with any solutions to this other then to re-position the UV's.
Is there another way?

Unfortunately there is no way to rotate materials at this point, but it is coming in the 1.9 release!
The reason it is taking some time is because the materials are built upon photoshop´s pattern system, and patterns can not be rotated. As you mentioned, re-positioning the uv´s would help, but proper rotation is coming soon!
Looking forward to it.
Thank you for your reply.
Great news! I could really use that now. Also, being able to offset the patterns would be fantastic. A lot of time I would rather nudge a scratch/detail rather than remove it.
Is there an ETA on 1.9 release?
- This may do strange things to your normal map, if it breaks, try using Ndo to create one from the height.
