I recently sold my desktop and moved abroad and I'm looking for a good laptop to get some game art done.
It needs to be a laptop, but I had considered getting a macbook pro maxed out. They're not bad and I grew up with macs so I like using them, but for a similar price I saw this beast.

32gb ram, i7 4900MQ quad core
Nvidia geforce GTX980M 4gb x2
Triple cooling system
500gb SSD and 1TB HD
2 years warranty
It seems great, but is there anything I should know or watch out for when getting a laptop like this. I didn't know they even came this powerful and Im a little worried about it overheating. Anything you guys would recommend? I guess I would be happy with the macbook but here in Korea tech is a bit cheaper and Apple stuff is pricey everywhere.
Any recommended alternatives would also be appreciated.
I'm likely to be using it for Unreal /cry zbrush stuff mostly.

Why not look at the Lenovo (gaming series), Razer Edge or Sager offerings. I use a Lenovo y510p with an extra vid card docked into its cd port and its been able to handle everything I throw at it.
Iv been buying laptops from PCSpecialist.co.uk for a few years now and they have been really solidly built and reliable performance wise, and you can spec them out pretty good with all the latest components. Id suggest having a look there too since your based in the uk,

In terms of the country, I'm living in south korea for the forseeable future, i just didn't update my profile. Gmarket is like the Korean Amazon, i think it's pretty reliable in that respect. It's clearly overkill but I'm not sure i mind as i don't want to be replacing it again this time next year.

I'd personally go with something that costs less but still efficient in getting what you need done especially if your are not getting a desktop since you wont be able to upgrade as many features.
This completely amazing laptop!
