Here is my current WIP. I might work on some of the wording a bit, if anyone has any suggestions for the Developers area feel free to toss them my way.
I think the 2015 in the bottom circle is a little bit weird - you might not need it with the date already on the back, or you might want to find a better placement for it. Because the "20" are so small, the 15 almost makes it seem like this is the 15th Polycount meetup from a glance. I think you can find a better way to get the year on the front.
Other than that, I want this shirt. It is sexy.
EDIT: Something the other entrees have done is just used the GDC logo for this year, which has the 15 in it.
You could just find a way to use that on the front and it will get the point across nicely.
Here is another revision, some one at the office gave me the idea of making the badge at the bottom having a shield like shape. I thought it was pretty cool and reused it for the back.
I've also put together some color options that I thought looked cool.
I'd go with green as it is polycount. - Also the controller bothers me for some reason - maybe something more old school like the original?
*snip*
Or maybe some art tools - something related to game art? Even a simple representation of a polygon
*snip*
Yeah, I agree with TeriyakiStyle.
Apologies for the really bad quality, but here's an idea:
You know, a controller (an old school one) in front of a screwdriver and a wrench to imply game development. The pattern behind the tools is supposed to be triangulated mesh. It is just nitpicking really, just thought I'd throw this out.

Great work!
Here is my final design I'm thinking!
