THRONE ROOM - The Crow Father's Roost - Cthogua (James Ball)

So for my (solo) entry I'm going to do the "throne room" of "The Crow Father," the Pope like figure that rules the human society of a world I've been developing that I'm currently calling "Dry." It's an industrial, diesel-punk/maschinen krieger, WW1-2 styled world with some bits of exotic technology where crow worshiping humans are locked in a constant battle against desiccated hordes of undead, and animated constructs lead by "War Liches." The idea started from some pen sketches I did during "Inktober" and I've been thinking of using it for some portfolio work and maybe a webcomic. I'll post a few of the drawings now, followed by a pinterest board solely for the reference I've gathered. I'll try to get some rough comp sketches done tonight and up tomorrow.

Oh yeah I did a few prop "concepts" that were paint overs of quickly blocked out models of things I imagined to be from the "Dry" world. One of the ideas I had was that the soldiers carried and wore little talismans and reliquaries that contained living plants to remind them of living energy while they fight the undead hordes.
