I am a biginner in environment art but, I want to try
The throne room is in a modern political context where people thing a king protect them but, the appearances can be fake.
About the throne : this is more like a comfortable Ikea desk chair than a throne of thousand swords.
Software I'll use:
Blender (high poly, low poly)
Photoshop (texture base)
Illustrator (geometric bump map for Substance painter, base for complexe poly object)
XNormal
Substance Painter / Designer
Unreal Engine 4

I don't know if i can finished this project because I actually work on a web documentary.
The last artwork.
I'm actually creating an 80's Game show set, so I'll be looking into lighting rigs and cameras etc. It's nice to see a futuristic take on a similar environment.

Maybe add a "Matte Painting" Picture in the background before the windows - so basically the audience will see the picture behind the "king" but we will see the truth, also in Throne Rooms you often see flags.

It's very hard to me to find time to continue this.
"Some time i need some time" so try to make quickly (that's good for workflow ^^)
- A new low poly and texture for the throne in painter. I like work with id map and fill layer that's very cool. You can add some element after in a new layer.
