Idea :
I'm going to make a snake throne.
Basically, the room will be in a cave separate in 2 part. The back of the cave (where the throne is) will be completely in sculpted rock (wall, floor, ceiling) and more you go to the entrance of the cave, more it became natural : the floor, wall, etc begin to be broken. Tree branch, vegetation is going on it.
There will sculpted snake with fire along the path to go to the throne.
The throne will be in rock with a snake around it.
A hole in the ceiling is going to make light from the outside.

Here is some update of my block out.
I changed the size of the room and begin to extend it to the cave.
Stairs are going to be metal plank like in sewers.

Some little progress on modeling.
I'm going to focus on the throne for now (modeling, zbrush, texturing)
Also this is a personal taste but I think your cobra could be more aggressive in his expression, he feels a bit too happy right now.
I actually had to make a cobra core and some snake shapes for heroes of the storm. I think it's cool to make them slightly less realistic than a real cobra, so they feel more aggressive. Again it's just how I approached them, but I think if you try to change a bit his expression to turn his smile into something more dangerous, make his teeth a bit thicker, he could look more impressive. Hope it helps.

Curious, why do you make the god rays hit the floor, and not the throne, for example?
You have to imagine the ''king'' on the throne and a guy in front of him being judge for something.
The god ray is hitting the floor to light this place, where the guy have to stand or being on knees.
I was hesitating between the throne and this place. But I think it's more interesting here. The guy being judge will be more scary and intimidated. Every body can clearly see him, every move he is doing. He can't make something wrong.

I did snake/light on the back smaller than before as the snakes near the throne are bigger. The curve is better like this.

m4dcow : It's making a curve to put our back on it. But I will damage the peaks at this place to have it more smoothly.
It's going to be hard to have everything done, but let's keep progressing on it ^^
