Here are my final screens, it is an Aztec style throne room.
I used 3d max, zbrush, photoshop and substance designer.
All textures were done in substance designer, used photoshop only to edit or create some masks, like the fire, smoke, and mix masks for materials in UE 4.
The texture for the caustics is not mine i downloaded it form the internet and edited it.
Used substance painter only in the center columns and edited some masks too.
I had an absolutely crazy deadline for myself as I started on Saturday night with this project. Learned a massive amount about streamlining my workflow and cutting unneeded items, with that said it was an absolute blast the last few nights.
Rendered in UE4.
Software:
Zbrush
Maya 2015
Substance Designer (Bakes + Multi material blends)
Substance Painter (Every part of texturing was done in painter for the throne, zbrush colors were just used for color id map)
Low Poly Wireframe:
High poly wireframe:
High poly in zbrush, painted color id map in zbrush
The apocalypse has happened...in the 1940's.
A ruthless gang lord dubbed "The Captain" has taken up residence at the site of a plane crash. As headquarters for the "Maintenance Marauders", the most feared and ruthless group of bandits on the decimated landscape of the post-society North-East, he commands his troops.

Throne Synopsis
Concealed within The Goddess Falls a throne is etched from the sacred stones of a lost kingdom. Lir the Torrent Goddess was once said to bless this holy chamber. Her followers would gaze upon the striking image of the torrential waterfall which flowed powerfully around Her magnificent throne. A testament to Her power of the sea.

We went too big and too bold, but it was a good learning experience all the way through. Thanks everyone.
Software used: 3ds max, Photoshop, 3d Coat, Ddo, Substance painter (not as much as I would have liked to due to time constraints).
