Hello everyone,

first post here. This is my first scene for my portfolio and I'm looking for comments and critique. It's based on a concept by Anthony Eftekhari although I made some changes to it. It's still a WIP and the images are just a quick render with a skylight in 3ds Max

Probably UE4, although I will have to learn it from scratch T_T

Good start! However you are missing a key detail, the round window on the first floor. I would go back and add that in if I was you.

Hmm, personally I like the arched windows more. It's something I changed from the original.

Looks cool so far, I like the concept. However I agree with mats effect about the circular windows. Personally I think they look much better.

I agree, the round windows break up the shapes of the facade. Looks great so far otherwise!

Thank you all for the replies. If all of you think the round windows would be the better choice I'll believe you and change this I will try to update the scene as often as possible and eventually ask you a few questions.

So yeah, I changed the windows back to the circular shape and a few other minor things. Any other things worth changing?

Well thank you for the kind words. I will try to work on the scene as much as possible, although I'm also writing my bachelor thesis at the moment. If anyone got ideas, critique or something else to mention I'll gladly listen and learn

Hi again,

just a quick update. Haven't had much time to work on the scene over the weekend. I probably won't have much time either the next few weeks because I really need to work on my Bachelor Thesis more . I'll still try to give you guys as much updates as possible so don't abandon this thread yet

Hi everyone,
sorry for not posting for such a long time. I've managed to finish my Bachelor-thesis last week and can now start to model again. I hope somebody still watches this thread . This is the other side of the courtyard with the entrance. As always C&C welcome
