Pheeew, that is a lot of junk, I'm working hard on my fundamentals, since after all this time I'm realizing I've been faking my anatomy, and using shortcuts and bullshit tricks for perspective and colors. So from one painting to the next, my anatomy/values/color would go from ok to terrible. I'll try to post more, not sure how many people even look at this but I know I need to keep myself responsible for posting, otherwise I just have folders with hundreds of bad paintings, haha.
Experimenting... From b+w ref, tried to use a colorized sketch with 'lit' colors coming through underneath. So all of my shadows end up around the same color... kinda works? For something quick at least.
Figured I'd post these as well, done maybe a week ago for a mentorship-type thing, they need to be tightened up, but they probably need redoing more, haha.
