Hello Polycounters!
As promised, here is my sculpted bark texture tutorial. I hope this helps anyone who has had some trouble sculpting tileable bark.
I would like to thank all the artists out there who take time out of their busy schedules to make tutorials like these. Artists like Scott Homer, Damien Lazarski, Alexandre Stroukoff, Andy Davies, Aaron Kaminer, Hayden Wu, Nghia Lam, Ryan Hawkins, fellow Polycounters, 3Dmotive,Vertex Bible, etc. I owe huge gratitude towards. Its part of the big reason why I love the game dev community and making tutorials like this.
I know this is a brief tutorial, so if anyone has questions, I will do my best to answer them on here or shoot me an email! I have been thinking of doing a gumroad series on foliage..If I receive positive feedback from this tutorial, or requests in general, Id love to record a video series that goes more in depth about my vegetation workflows!
Cheers,
Steve 0

I would definitly pick up a foliage series from you, just name a price!
Trying to figure out what's the best choice when texturing a tree. Whether to go with bark tiling, photo scan (like the ones you posted recently) or some other method that pairs the two that may scape me.
