Hola :) I'm new to sculpting rocks and this is my first attempt at a smooth coastal boulder. It's far from finished but I've hit a bit of a wall though and would really appreciate some feedback on it to help me get back on track. I've listed some reference images and then a few screens of what I have so far. The goal is to use this and other rocks in a portfolio environment.

If you have the time and some suggestions I'd appreciate a little of both :) Thank you very much!

I think that you could use some more hard edges in there. The whole thing reads a bit soft. Look at you ref images and see some of the faceted faces. Then I would get in there with some chips of the old block :). Some smaller facets.

Thanks for the feedback Cody! I think you're right, it is way too round and smooth and I should've thought of that when I was texturing -- my edge map had very little definition for me to work with. I'll chop off some sides and post a progress image. I also just discovered Sketchfab on another thread so I'll see if I can set up an account to make it easier for folks to give feedback :)
