3D Matte Painting WIP

Hi everyone, below is the WIP of my first matte painting and i'd absolutely love if you could all rip it apart! I've reached a point where i feel i could really use some feedback and possibly some direction on how i should take it forward. Thanks a lot!

Added some photographic elements onto the mountains (for the 100th time) and i think i might actually be getting somewhere.

Can't call it amazing, but neither is it bad.



The only thing that bothers me is...

(1) Below the moon, a bit to the right. The thick puffy cloud just dissolves to the right, then you see the night sky and stars.
I can't ever remember seeing those type of clouds doing that.

Thanks for the feedback Shurkuris. Ill fix the cloud right away. I didnt expect to create an amazing image on my first attempt and thats fine, what would be awesome is if you could say how you'd change it to be better!

Another update! I added some lights/fires to add interest and cropped the image to hopefully reduce some negative space!
