JoeTyas polycounter lvl 4
This was my first time ever creating a character.

I decided my Anatomy knowledge was not good enough so I created this character.

Programs Used:

3DS Max
Mudbox
Quixel (Only for the very base texture, barely any of it left)
Topogun 2
Marmoset Toolbag 2

Hey, not sure if you're wanting critique... but I'm assuming you do.
So here's my 2 cents The face could do with some more attention, the eyes look a bit cross eyed and the Forearm seems small and the knees look quite low.

The texturing is nice though and I like his suit :)

I have to agree with Chantel-sky. I'd also like to point out you have some pinching on the chin and upper lip. As for the body, the torso is very tube-like and the rib cage looks collapsed. Something I'd suggest if you're looking to practice anatomy would be to do more nude sculpts and maybe post those for feedback. It's a bit hard to pin-point issues when there is clothing/gear obscuring the anatomy. Well I hope this helps. Keep it up, anatomy is tough.

something about this... i think its fair to say uncanny valley? your materials all look great, the suit, the skin, the hair look right, buuut, the proportions are just weird, and, (no offense) it is kinda funny. the fact that the materials look right adds to this.

my 2c, if your interested. use the anatomical referance that come with Zbrush or whatever package youve got, you can build all sorts of suits on top of them and it will look natural.

I'm sorry, would it better if I had said that the entire face is scrunched in like some sort of human-bug from Psychonauts with impossible lips? I didn't realize it was necessary to always be super serious, let me go put a serious hat on while I'm at it.

Atleast getting amusement from it can be construed as positive in some light.

It seems like the texturing and technical side of modelling, etc are pretty decent, but...
Your character has a really tiny face and a big head. :(
For the most part, in fact, your proportions are pretty wildly off.

I'd suggest using more reference, and having another shot on another character. :) Your placement of the muscles is more or less correct, but you're missing the big picture and forms in the process. Just keep it up, try to look at the whole form a bit more often during the process.

    And...
That head is amazing I can't stop laughing at it.
    Wow. C'mon, dude.

    EDIT:

    Wow.
