There's also one where one of DF's coders plays Mother/Earthbound. There didn't seem to be a whole lot of insight in that one, but it might be interesting if you have more patience for JRPGs than I do.

Day[9] also does this thing called "mostly walking" where he and his game develop buddies play through and analyze old school point and click games.
Though mostly aimed at entertainment, but still some pretty fun analysis here an there.
