Normally I'm a level designer, but I decided to try my hand at basic texturing. This was the result. Looking forward to pushing for better quality next time, this was mainly a learning experience to get my workflows down, and to set up my Workshop infos and such. :)

C+C welcome!

For my next skin, I'm looking to fix the obvious UV seams that are visible on the model. I used 3D-Coat for my projection painting, and I don't think the padding settings (64) applied properly, so I got gray seams in some unsightly and obvious spots. You can see this on the receiver, where the magazine housing joins near the trigger guard and all along that edge.

Also, I made my main Workshop thumbnail/preview image in Marmoset Toolbag 2, but accidentally cranked the brightness too high, which resulted in the preview image people see in their queue being an oversatured image of the gun.

    Thanks, ETI.

It took a total of maybe 6 hours. In that time I learned beginner skills in 3D-Coat, Marmoset, VTFEdit, and a few other non-3D programs.

I posted links to what I used (as well as some helpful tutorials [not my tutorials, just ones I used] relating directly to the process I used to make skins and even rewriting some CSGO scripts so that it would appear in-game for screenshots) on my Steam Workshop page for the item if you're interested.
