Hi guys,
new year is almost upon us, and with the new year coming I've decided to step out of my comfort zone and work on my dream of being a specialized character artist FOR GAMES!!!
so far I have 3 years of experience doing assets and animation for a couple of local movie and animation here in Malaysia, but working on games have always been my dream, since it was the thing that push in this field even more than any animated films.
So after January I'm going to resign from my job and take 2-3 months to work on a quality portfolio catered to Game Character art. So I would appriciate it if you guys can look at my current portfolio and chime in with your thoughts on how i can improve upon it's layout and even content.
long story short here is my portfolio

in my opinion it should all be central but that might just be me being awkward!
Can't believe I didn't see that haha.
You are on a good way!
i would just say learn game topology theory and study in-game shading and materials, like know the difference between handpainted-style shading vs. old-spec shading MMO style shaders vs. PBR shaders vs. hybrid of any of those.
show off them texture sheets and clean uvs are important as well. since your an animator you probably have good deformation theory
keep it up!
Yeah, the lacking of game related models was definitely on my top priority fix list, I'm currently working on a character while learning more about the PBR workflow at the same time, gonna post that up soon. So much stuff to catch up on!
